Roast Pork with Cranberry Sauce

A simple recipe to bring an important meat main course to the table, as befits a festive day, a special occasion. Roast Pork with Cranberry Sauce is a preparation that mixes sweet and sour notes to perfection-a traditional offering but with a definite nod to the best international cuisine.

Ingredients

800 gr of pork loin

120 gr of chestnut honey

120 ml fresh orange juice

2 tablespoons of EVO oil

20 gr butter

salt, pepper to taste

1 jar of Cascina San Cassiano Cranberry sauce

Preparation

Rub the pork loin with salt and pepper, taking care to cover the entire surface.

Melt butter and oil in a casserole dish that can go in the oven and brown the meat on all sides.

Meanwhile, heat the oven to 200° in static mode.

Emulsify orange juice with honey in a bowl then season with salt and pepper and pour over meat.

Place the casserole dish with the meat in the hot oven and cook for about 40 minutes, turning it several times during cooking and basting it with the cooking juices. In case the bottom gets too dry, add 2 tablespoons of water or orange juice.

When the cooking is finished, let the meat rest for about 10 minutes, moistening it with the cooking juices, cut into slices and serve accompany the honeyed pork loin with Cascina San Cassiano Cranberry Sauce.
