Roast chicken with honey, turmeric and orange sauce

For the second of the Christmas menu we propose a dish that is a little traditional and a little exotic at the same time: roast chicken with honey, turmeric and orange sauce. This recipe is quick and easy, but it will certainly surprise your guests. The flavor of white meats, in fact, is enhanced by the sweetness of honey, the liveliness of turmeric and orange, for a slightly oriental taste.

Ingredients
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • origan
  • sage
  • 10 g of coarse salt
Preparation

In a blender, chop the coarse salt and the peeled garlic with the aromatic herbs (bay leaf, sage, rosemary and oregano). Brush the chicken with oil on both sides and cover it with the herbs. Repeat the same operation for the inside of the chicken as well. Pour a little oil on the bottom of a saucepan and bake for 60 minutes in a static oven preheated to 200 ° C. Halfway through cooking, turn the chicken in the pot, so that it is golden on both sides. Once ready, add the honey, turmeric and orange room, sprinkling the back of the chicken.
