The “pêche des vignes” is a variety of peach with a medium-small fruit, and a red and white flesh, very juicy; it ripens at the same time as the grapes and does not need pesticide treatment because it is very resistant. For these reasons, this peach tree can still be found in the vineyards today at the beginning and end of the rows, with the function of providing the vineyard workers with natural refreshment during the labors of the harvest.
