Cascina, only good things
Founded in Alba in 1990 by Elio Rossetto, Cascina San Cassiano is the result of a deep love for the land and an enduring passion for fine food. The farming traditions of his family are given new life in our carefully crafted gastronomic specialties, now enjoyed worldwide. We follow a certified and meticulous production process, ensuring the highest quality at every stage.
Every day, we are committed to offering genuine products, preserving the natural flavors of ingredients without using preservatives, artificial colorants, or GMOs.
We also incorporate Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Geographical Indication (PGI) ingredients into many of our products, including DOCG wines, IGP Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, IGP Sorrento’s lemon and DOP cheeses such as Castelmagno, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Pecorino Romano.
Whenever possible, we source ingredients locally: the fruit used in our fruit in syrup comes from Piedmont and is processed within 48 hours of harvest.
Our tomatoes, basil, eggs, and butter are 100% Italian.
The meat, milk, and cream we use also come from the finest Italian producers.

Our Quality Certifications

Organic BIO certification identifies a production system that respects as much as possible the natural life cycles of the ingredients of our products, in order to preserve the characteristics of the soil and safeguard biodiversity.

The Langhe, our land
Our company takes its name from the ancient Abbey of San Cassiano, which was also its first location.
For us, Alba and the Langhe are more than just an emotional bond—they are a cultural heritage to be preserved and shared. In 2014, the Langhe were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a hilly landscape at the foot of the Alps that has long been home to world-renowned products.
a hilly landscape at the foot of the Alps that has long been home to world-renowned products. These include prestigious wines such as Barolo and Barbaresco, the “Nocciola Trilobata Tonda Gentile delle Langhe”—considered the finest hazelnut in the world—and, of course, the prized White Truffle of Alba, celebrated for its intense aroma and the star of an internationally renowned auction during the annual Alba Truffle Fair.
Over time, this region has become a prime destination for food and wine tourism, attracting global interest in Langhe and Piedmontese cuisine. This is reflected in the many Michelin-starred restaurants in the area, alongside a rich network of traditional trattorias offering excellent local dishes.
The Langhe provide the perfect setting for Cascina San Cassiano’s craftsmanship, where centuries-old knowledge is preserved in every jar of high-quality food.
