1990
Passion and value
Elio Rossetto founds Cascina San Cassiano by combining his passion for cooking with the desire to increase the value of the agricultural products grown by his family.
1994
Export focus
Cascina San Cassiano sells its first container of products to Japan, to non-EU countries, and begins participating in the main international food trade fairs: export becomes a strategic objective.
2000
Retail distribution in Europe and Private Label
The products and the brand begin to be appreciated also by European large-scale retail distribution. The first requests arrive for customized products or products developed for foreign markets or retail chains.
2001
Efficiency and taste
The project begins for the construction of a new production facility on land adjacent to the historic farmhouse, which will make it possible to automate and streamline processing, packaging and storage, without sacrificing taste and the natural quality of raw materials.
2005
Global retail distribution expansion
With the new facility, Cascina San Cassiano’s strategy takes a leap forward: securing space in large-scale retail distribution in Italy and Europe, finding reliable distributors to expand into the various non-EU areas of the world; buyers and distributors become key partners for development.
2009
Certified quality
Cascina San Cassiano obtains its first agri-food quality certification from Bureau Veritas and the prestigious BRC accreditation.
2017
Renewed image
ascina San Cassiano carries out a restyling of its product packaging, switching to a cylindrical jar and completely renewing its image: company logo, label and website. All to increase the visibility and recognizability of the company and its products. The label is elegant, unique and always leaves the product clearly visible. The labeling process is mechanized.
2024
Global e-commerce partnerships
Cascina San Cassiano also covers the online channel through a series of agreements with major online sales platforms in Europe and around the world. The story continues!
