An exquisite mousse as a filling for croissants, sweet crepes, pancakes or waffles. It is wonderful as a filling for chocolates, on ice cream and with yogurt. Fantastic used to fill Panettone, Pandoro and Easter doves. it is recommended to taste it combined with Cascina San Cassiano’s Piedmont Apricots in Syrup, thus preparing a really good quick dessert: drain the apricots and split them in two removing the pits; stuff the apricot with D.O.C.G. Moscato d’Asti Wine Mousse. Garnish with a dusting of cocoa and a few tufts of whipped cream.
Moscato d’Asti is a sweet, sparkling wine DOCG certified, farmed in the territory of Asti from 1932, with a delicate straw-yellow colour. Due its delicate taste it is considered the perfect match for desserts in Piedmontese cuisine.
