The cream is ready to season freshly drained pasta or risottos. We also recommend using this cream to flavor red meats, on fried eggs, and on hot croutons.
The truffle has been known since ancient times, the Greek philosopher Plutarch even believed it to be the product of the combined action of water, heat and lightning. But it is in the Middle Ages, and especially in the Italian Renaissance courts, that the truffle was recognized as the noble food par excellence. This cream is prepared with white truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico) and black truffle (Tuber aestivum) and porcini mushrooms.
