With an original flavor, thanks to the almond aftertaste, it is excellent for fruit salads and for garnishing desserts. The almond aftertaste is due to the core of the content in the apricot. Use the syrup to prepare cocktails, popsicles, juices. It is recommended to report the apricots before use. Prepare a delicious and quick dessert: divide the apricot in two, remove the core, fill the apricot with the Moscato d’Asti DOCG wine mousse, and the dessert is ready! If you prefer you can add a sprinkling of cocoa or a few tufts of whipped cream.
Fruits of the Tonda di Costigliole variety have a round shape, the skin is yellow-orange colored with reddish streaks; the pulp is yellow-orange colored, has a firm consistency and has a sweet taste and an intense aroma. This variety of apricots is much sweeter and more palatable than other varieties of apricots, and has a rather high satiety index. These apricots come from Costigliole Saluzzo, a charming town not far from our plant. We produce this product with only apricots, water and brown sugar.
